Delete your Veer data

Veer, the weather app by Clearpoint Studios, has no account. Almost everything it holds lives only on your phone. This page explains how to delete both parts.

1. Data on your phone

Saved places, settings and cached forecasts are stored only on your device. To delete them, uninstall Veer or clear its data in Android's app settings (Settings, Apps, Veer, Storage, Clear data). Removing a place in the app removes its stored forecast too.

2. Data on our side

On our side we only hold the support messages you sent under More, Help and feedback. If you never wrote to us, there is nothing to delete. To have them deleted, with or without the app installed:

1. Write to [email protected] with the subject "Veer data deletion".
2. So we can find your messages, add the approximate date of your support message and its first words.
3. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by reply.

What is deleted

• Your support conversations and every message in them, including our replies and their translations
• The app version, Android version, phone model and language stored with them
• The anonymous support identifier

Nothing is kept after deletion, apart from database backups for disaster recovery, which are overwritten within 30 days. Closed conversations are also deleted automatically no later than 12 months after the last message. Details are in the privacy policy.
